Joseph P. "JP" Thomas

President
Chief Operating Officer
Active Member/Owner

JP joined Allison Payment Systems, LLC in January of 1999 after spending 24 years in the computer industry. With emerging technologies, JP has focused his direction on sales and marketing strategies to expand the company’s business segments and product lines. He is a key player in the development of e-commerce products. Most recently, JP headed the developmental team of APS NetBill, a suite of internet-based products and services, offering a complete one-stop print and electronic solutions to APS customers.

Previously, he was the country manager for Canada at Adaptec Corp, a high-end peripheral interface OEM supplier headquartered in Milpitas, California. Before that he was founder and president of Antares Technologies, a New England based distributor of PC computer products. He also held senior worldwide management positions at Maxtor Corporation, Miniscribe Corporation and Control Data Corporation.

JP received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from New England College in New Hampshire and did MBA studies at Western New England College. JP also earned a certificate in Executive Management from the Mendoza College of Business at The University of Notre Dame.

He and his wife Cindy and daughter Meghann relocated to the Indianapolis area in July of 2000. He has lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Illinois, and Colorado. JP is an avid golfer, musician, and sometimes runner.
